Tools are converging. Understanding is the edge.

Anyone can build an automation in an afternoon now. And most of them look alike: lead follow-ups, call summaries, CEO dashboards. Some of mine too.

So the tool isn't what sets you apart anymore. The understanding behind it is.
AI is great at showing where leads get stuck and what to fix in the CRM. What makes it stick is knowing the people who'll use it: sitting with the team, seeing how they really work, and building around that. Then adoption happens on its own.

That's where I think the value is moving.
What's one thing that made a team actually adopt a tool you built?

Spot on. Standard automations are easily replicated, but real adoption lives in the interaction layer.

In my work with Human-AI Coupled Systems, the core metric isn't just pipeline throughput — it’s how seamlessly the system reduces cognitive load and aligns with human decision-making. When you architect for systemic co-evolution rather than basic task automation, teams adopt it naturally because it feels like an extension of their own capability.
