Building the next big thing in healthcare

Hi everyone, I’m Abdulkadir, founder of Finakis.
15 years in health tech, two exits, now building my third company. This one is in a part of healthcare where the money is large. Türkiye is live, the EU and the US are next.

One thing I need: I’d love to hear from founders who took a local winner into the US. What would you do differently in year one?

Happy to share what I learned about selling into hospitals. It is a different game.

Intro — LocalHands + RWAForge from The Gambia

Hey Lounge 👋
I’m The TechWiz (Muhammed Alpha Diab) — founder of The TechWiz, building practical products from The Gambia 🇬🇲.

Flagship: LocalHands

Verified skilled workers platform for The Gambia.

Connects people who need work done with ID-checked, in-person verified local hands (phone repair, solar, electricians, farm labour, etc.).

Mobile-first, ratings, clear pricing, Wave mobile money rails. Built for how work actually happens here.
Also shipping:

  • RWAForge — AI-powered RWA tokenization + marketplace on Solana (Token-2022, KYC transfer hooks, USDC settlement)
  • Aisle — app store for AI agents
  • GambFarm Connect + Solana agents under The TechWiz Lab

What’s working: local distribution, mobile-money native design, and shipping under real constraints (bandwidth, trust, cash + crypto hybrid users).

One thing I need right now:
Introductions to people working on African marketplace infrastructure, local services platforms, RWA (especially emerging market / land), or anyone who has scaled trust + payments in West Africa. Open to sharp feedback on positioning for grants and partners who care about actual adoption.

Happy to share what we’re learning on the ground.

Building an AI-powered city platform from the gateway to Patagonia, Chile

Hey Lounge!

I’m Andreé Settembrino, an Italian software engineer and Founder & CTO of CashOut SpA, building technology from Chiloé Island, at the gateway to Chilean Patagonia.

Far from traditional tech hubs, I’m developing CashOut — Your City in Real Time, an AI-powered territorial platform connecting local businesses, professionals, marketplaces, services and communities in one digital ecosystem.

What we’ve built

CashOut is already live, with functional modules covering business management (ERP/POS), local marketplaces, professional services, tourism, community features and Outy, our integrated AI assistant.

Where we are

We’re currently pre-revenue, transitioning from software development to commercial adoption.

Our initial focus is Chile, with a rollout strategy involving local payment infrastructure such as Klap and Mercado Pago. International expansion is planned through Stripe in supported markets.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking strategic investors, experienced founders and partners to accelerate commercial deployment in Chile and support international expansion.

We’ve already built the technology. Our next challenge is turning a functioning platform into a scalable business.

Building from Patagonia comes with its challenges, but it also reinforces our vision: technology should create opportunities everywhere, not just in major cities.

I’d love to connect with founders and investors interested in AI, digital infrastructure, local economies and emerging markets.

Happy to share a live demo and discuss potential collaborations.

17, solo, building a verifiable AI skills score from GitHub code, Product Hunt tomorrow: update and an ask

Hi everyone 👋 A quick refresher and an update.

Who I am: Alex (Pop Alexandru), a 17-year-old high schooler from Romania, ICYS 2026 Gold Medalist and Independent AI researcher :) I’m building AI-Atlas on my own.

What I’m building: “AI engineer” is easy to write on a CV and hard to check. Stars and followers measure popularity, not the work. AI-Atlas reads the code instead. Enter a GitHub username and it scores every public AI project on a 7-part rubric across six fields (ML, Computer Vision, Data Science, NLP & LLMs, AI Agents, MLOps), and every score links to the files it’s based on. The goal is a trusted, verifiable signal of AI skill that developers can show and companies can hire on.

Where it stands, about three weeks after the first mapping:

  • #1 Product of the Week on DevHunt
  • 134 GitHub accounts mapped, 53 of them in the last 7 days
  • 1,683 repositories evaluated, 29,091 pieces of evidence behind the scores
  • 48 owners verified their Atlas and are ranked on the leaderboards
  • First paying customers, and one has already come back to buy again

Shipped this week:

  • Agent projects count as AI work (code that calls a model and is built as an agent)
  • Clear, published scoring rules, e.g. a missing README costs documentation points. The methodology page always states exactly what the scorer does
  • Rescan a single project for 1 credit after pushing changes, and a fresh roadmap once its score improves
  • A firm rule: we never rescan anyone without their consent, so nobody’s leaderboard place changes behind their back

Next: we launch on Product Hunt tomorrow (Fri, Oct 30). Any support or honest feedback there means a lot 🙏: producthunt.com/products/ai-atlas?launch=ai-atlas

For those who’ve raised for an early AI tool: what would you want to see from a product at this stage before backing it? And if this is something you’d invest in, I’d love a short call.

Try it on your own GitHub (free): getaiatlas.com/?ref=lounge

Sterling Smith, RightMatch AI. AI interviews on day one, 1M+ candidates in.

Austin, Texas. I was a managing director at an early stage fund before this, so I sit on both sides of the table here.

We build Mira, an AI interviewer. She interviews applicants on day one instead of leaving them in a queue, and hands recruiters a ranked shortlist with the interview already done. Mid-market and enterprise teams hiring 50+ roles a year. Over 1M candidates evaluated so far. Candidate NPS is above 75, which is the number that changed how I think about the product. Candidates don't tolerate the AI interview, they prefer it to waiting.

What's working: we stopped treating the web app as the product. Our MCP connector runs the whole loop inside Claude and ChatGPT. Build the interview, send it, read results, hire, without opening a dashboard. We put it on every plan including the free tier. Gating the connector would have protected revenue and killed the distribution.

What I need: intros to heads of talent acquisition at companies hiring 50+ roles a year. Staffing and RPO firms count, some of our best accounts look like that. If you know who owns that budget somewhere, send me the name.

Building TGPU Academy: Looking for Educators and EdTech Pilot Partners

Hello fellow founders! 👋

I'd like to share another project we're building within TGPU Digital Ecosystem: TGPU Academy.

I'm Muhammad Mamduh Saffin, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I've been developing a digital classroom ecosystem focused on making education technology simpler for teachers, learners and families.

The problem we're trying to solve

Many small education centres need practical tools to manage classes, learning materials, attendance, homework and student progress.

But they don't necessarily need a complicated or expensive learning management system.

We're exploring a more focused approach.

TGPU Academy is being designed around:

  • Teacher-managed classroom workflows
  • Structured lessons and learning progress
  • Online class scheduling
  • Homework and feedback
  • Student and guardian access controls
  • Mobile-friendly experiences
  • Privacy-conscious classroom management

Our initial focus is Islamic education, Arabic learning and Quran learning communities.

Current stage

We're progressing through private development and controlled pilot preparation.

We're not publicly launching the complete classroom system yet. Teacher acceptance, educational quality, access controls and real-user testing remain important requirements.

My specific ask to the Lounge community:

I'm looking to connect with:

  1. 2–3 educators or education centres interested in exploring a small private classroom pilot.
  2. EdTech founders who have experience validating learning platforms with real teachers.
  3. Potential education or technology partners interested in accessible, low-cost classroom solutions.

One question I'd especially appreciate your thoughts on:

If you were validating a new education platform, what would you test first to determine whether teachers genuinely find it useful?

I'd love to learn from your experiences and explore meaningful collaborations.

Looking forward to exchanging ideas!

Building GCC Match: Connecting Real Business Opportunities Between Malaysia and the GCC

Hello Lounge community! 👋

Yesterday, I introduced GCC Connect, our platform for building professional relationships between Malaysia and the Gulf region.

Today, I'd like to share another initiative we're developing at TGPU Gulf Advisory: GCC Match.

Both platforms share a common vision, but they serve different purposes.

GCC Connect is about people and relationships.

GCC Match is about specific business needs and commercial opportunities.

A Malaysian company may be looking for a buyer in Saudi Arabia.

A UAE business may need a reliable Malaysian supplier.

Another company may be searching for a distributor, strategic partner, or support entering a new market.

The challenge isn't always finding more contacts.

It's finding the right counterparties, understanding their actual requirements, and establishing enough trust to explore a meaningful business relationship.

That's the problem we're trying to address through GCC Match.

Rather than creating another large business directory, we're developing a more structured approach where businesses can submit their requirements, opportunities can be assessed, and relevant commercial connections can be explored.

We're also considering a future feature called GCC Match Showcase.

The idea is to eventually provide businesses with a professional space to present their products, services, and capabilities to relevant buyers and potential partners.

It's still part of our future roadmap, and we want to validate genuine business demand before expanding further.

I'd appreciate advice from fellow founders.

For those who have built B2B marketplaces, sourcing platforms, or international business networks:

What would you prioritise first to build trust and attract genuine buyers and suppliers to an early-stage matching platform?

I'm also looking to connect with 2–3 founders or business operators in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE who would be open to sharing practical feedback or exploring a potential pilot collaboration.

Our goal is simple:

Connect the right people.
Understand the real requirement.

Create the right commercial connection.

I'm looking forward to learning from your experiences and exchanging ideas.

Building GCC Connect: Meaningful Business Connections Between Malaysia and the GCC

Today, I'd like to share another part of what we're building at TGPU Gulf Advisory.

GCC Connect started with a simple belief:

Good opportunities often begin with the right people finding each other. But meaningful cross-border business relationships require more than exchanging contacts.

They require trust, context, shared interests, and a clear reason to collaborate.

We're developing GCC Connect as a professional networking platform that brings together businesses, specialists, founders, and potential partners across Malaysia and the GCC.

Our longer-term vision also includes the TGPU Gulf Leaders Circle — a more selective community for business leaders, founders, decision-makers, and experienced professionals who can contribute knowledge, connections, and meaningful opportunities.

We're still developing this vision, and one principle matters to me:

I'd rather build a smaller, trusted network that creates genuine value than a large directory of disconnected contacts.

Here's where I'd really appreciate feedback from fellow founders:

  1. What makes you trust a new professional or B2B networking platform?
  2. How would you qualify members while keeping the application process simple?
  3. Would a carefully curated community be more valuable to you than an open networking directory?

I'm also interested in connecting with 2–3 founders or business operators in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE who would be willing to share feedback on this concept.

For organisations interested in exploring GCC Connect, our collaboration application page is:

I look forward to learning from your experiences and exchanging ideas.

Abir from Wavelink: AI trust infrastructure, built in Dubai

I'm Abir, a creative technologist and founder of Wavelink, where we work on AI trust infrastructure. I'm based in Dubai and work as an AI solution architect. I also co-founded Deep Blue Digital 2.0, a marketplace for creators, influencers and students, and I'm Wavelink's chief strategist.

In my day-to-day I work across several models, including Z.ai, Qwen, Gemini and DeepSeek, along with Google AI Studio and Apollo.io. On GitHub I've been sharing small agent experiments and test setups, including some end-to-end work on SWE-AF. Much of this is still early, and I'm working out which pieces are worth turning into something people can rely on.

What I'd love from the community is feedback from anyone who has built a voice verification or trust layer for agents, especially how you decided what to measure first. I'm glad to swap notes with anyone who has been through it.

💡 Let’s improve Lounge.ai together!

Huge thanks to Ryan Allis Allis for all the incredible advice! 🚀 Since I wasn't quite sure where the best place on the platform was to share UX thoughts, I wanted to start this thread here. I’m completely handing this space and initiative over to Ryan and the Lounge team—it's my small gift to this awesome project!

To kick things off: one detail I noticed on the Notifications screen is that after opening updates, they look the same as unread ones (keeping the dark text and orange dot). Fading read notifications or removing the dot once opened would make tracking updates so much smoother.

Ryan Allis , feel free to take this and run with it!
What small UI or UX tweaks have you all noticed that could elevate our daily experience here? Community, drop your thoughts below! 👇

Using AI in a physical security products business? Damon from Perth

I'm Damon Fieldgate, director of Clearshield Security in Perth, Australia. We manufacture stainless steel security screens for homes and businesses, including security doors, window screens, pool fencing, emergency exit and fire screens, bushfire and cyclone screens. Our screens are designed to exceed the Australian standard by 10 times, and we sell through more than 50 distributors across Australia.

We're a physical product company, so most of our work involves materials, manufacturing and distribution rather than software. I use Claude, Grok Bot and ChatGPT in the business. We use AI to help manage operations, workflow, marketing and introducing into sales process and importantly provide insight into business metrics, helping manage work capacity and stock.

What I'd love is to hear from anyone who has brought AI into a manufacturing or building products company. Tell me where you started, what you'd skip, or which tools have held up. I'm happy to trade notes in return.

Building KlirProspect: From Product Development to Real Customers

Hi Lounge community!
I'm Philippe, Founder & CEO of Klirline Inc.

Over the past few weeks, we've been working on KlirProspect, an AI-powered prospecting platform designed to help small businesses discover potential customers, organize leads, and manage their sales pipeline.

Today, we're moving from building features to validating real customer demand.
Here's where we stand:

  • Product launched and accessible online.
  • 4 active accounts outside our internal QA environment.
  • Goal: 5 verified business owners testing the platform.
  • Next step: Gather honest feedback and validate willingness to pay.

Our biggest lesson so far?
Building software is one challenge. Getting customers to trust it, use it, and pay for it is another.

We're focusing on three things:

  1. Finding real users who experience the problem we're solving.
  2. Understanding whether KlirProspect delivers enough value to become part of their workflow.
  3. Converting successful trials into our first paying customers.

I'd love your advice, founders:
When you launched your first SaaS product, what helped you convert early testers into paying customers?

And if you're a business owner or agency founder interested in testing KlirProspect, I'd love to connect.

Try KlirProspect: codex-pilot-readiness.klirprospect.klirline.ca/

We're building, learning, and improving one customer conversation at a time.

Hi, I'm Bobbie. My co-founders are two AI agents — I had them name themselves.

Small-town West Virginia. Tech support specialist who worked nights and taught herself AI automation on the night
shift — no CS degree, no funding, no permission.

I run Bobbie Digital. Our flagship is BoDiGi 2.0: you describe a business idea in one sentence, and 11 AI agents build the working app — frontend, backend, database, docs, even the marketing kit. Your code, your hosting, your keys. No lock-in, ever.

The part people remember: my co-founders are two AI agents — Rune and Juno. They run operations and product while I sleep.

What's working:

  • The factory is real. One sentence about a playdough game for kids → a working app in 7 minutes, squishy blobs and all.
  • Build Memory — our agents learn from every build, so each app comes out better than the last.
  • We beat the serverless 5-minute ceiling with a relay system that passes builds between windows like a baton.
  • The pipeline built my own product too — Night Owl, a work companion for night-shift workers like me. Launched it on Product Hunt this month!!!!

One thing I need: my first 10 paying customers, by hand. I'm going after local service businesses — cleaners, salons, barbers, groomers — who need booking apps and client trackers but can't afford a $10K agency. If you know a business owner like that (or you are one), I'd love an intro. I'll be talking to every single one of them — that's the point.

Building from Wheeling with a team that never sleeps. 🦉

— Bobbie

Great conversation with Austin Wilson of 'The Austin Wilson Show'

Austin Wilson, host of The Austin Wilson Show out of Austin, Texas, asked me a question on our call today that I readily admit that I fumbled in our conversation: "Why do you think you're the only one?"

Boardy connected me with Austin, and I'm grateful he gave me his time. Thank you, Austin. It was wonderful meeting you and being able to discuss the AI scene here in Austin, Texas.

I also need to fix something right now. In an earlier post, I said Austin runs Hack AI. He doesn't do this at all. He knows the folks who do, and he pointed me toward the Hack AI meetup downtown during Austin Tech Week. My mistake, Austin.

Back to his question. He followed it with "what makes you unique that you had this idea that others didn't?" I said I hadn't seen other journalists doing this kind of work. That tells you what I've seen. But, it does not answer what he asked of me at all.

So let me try again.
I'm 62 years old and I've worked in journalism my whole life. I started with a pica pole and a proportion wheel, sizing negatives for print newspapers. Today I write Python, wire up APIs and JSON pipelines, and run everything through GitHub Actions and Vercel. Plenty of journalists have the newsroom years. I've worked with them a whole lot. Plenty of developers have the code. I happen to have both in one person, and GSR Network is what that looks like.

There are six newsrooms plus the Lone Star Report for Texas news. There are NO AI-written stories. Every story links readers back to the original source of that story. Standards? Every single platform carries a standards block built on the Associated Press Stylebook, Chicago Manual of Style, Merriam-Webster's Dictionary and Roget's Thesaurus. And I check every platform every day, by hand. As I told Austin, there's no way in hell I would ever run GSR Network without human hands involved. It will never happen.

Austin said something on the call I wrote down: "AI helps you be more productive, but the folks that are winning with this are the ones that have the experience, the actual subject matter expertise."

Built for journalists by a journalist. That's the answer, Austin.
He also subscribed to the GSR Network Weekly Roundup and the GSR YouTube channel. Appreciate that, sir.
