iPremom
iPremom's MaiRa platform uses a single blood sample, a 36-gene cell-free RNA signature and predictive modelling to assess early-onset preeclampsia risk in the first trimester. It is currently available in Spain through iPremom's own laboratory, and the company is pursuing EU and US regulatory approvals. Founded in 2019 by Carlos Simón and Tamara Garrido, it raised a €15M seed round in 2026 led by Amadeus Capital Partners, with Asabys Partners and APEX Ventures participating. The funding will go toward clinical validation and commercial rollout.
