We Doctor
WeDoctor was founded in 2010 by AI expert Jerry Liao (Liao Jieyuan) and is based in Hangzhou. It operates internet hospitals and links hospitals and doctors with patients, pharmacies, insurers and financial services. Investcorp reported more than 240 million registered users, and the company has been backed by investors including Tencent, Hillhouse and Goldman Sachs. In 2018 it was valued at about US$5.5 billion, and PitchBook lists it as in IPO registration in 2026.
