BCI-Sonics
BCI-Sonics (Huachao Shenkong (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd.) builds low-intensity focused ultrasound neuromodulation systems. They pair transcranial focusing with AI-personalized, closed-loop stimulation of deep brain nuclei and the cortex. It runs three product lines (research, clinical, consumer). Its FUS-BCI series has completed two product generations, and clinical trials of its closed-loop system are planned for Q1 2027. Founded in 2025 by Dr. Li Xin, it raised about RMB 100M in angel rounds in 2026, led by Matrix Partners China. It then raised a RMB 200M Pre-A in 2026, co-led by HongShan (Sequoia China) and Yunqi Partners, bringing total funding to nearly RMB 300M.
