Intro — LocalHands + RWAForge from The Gambia
Hey Lounge 👋
I’m The TechWiz (Muhammed Alpha Diab) — founder of The TechWiz, building practical products from The Gambia 🇬🇲.
Flagship: LocalHands
Verified skilled workers platform for The Gambia.
Connects people who need work done with ID-checked, in-person verified local hands (phone repair, solar, electricians, farm labour, etc.).
Mobile-first, ratings, clear pricing, Wave mobile money rails. Built for how work actually happens here.
Also shipping:
- RWAForge — AI-powered RWA tokenization + marketplace on Solana (Token-2022, KYC transfer hooks, USDC settlement)
- Aisle — app store for AI agents
- GambFarm Connect + Solana agents under The TechWiz Lab
What’s working: local distribution, mobile-money native design, and shipping under real constraints (bandwidth, trust, cash + crypto hybrid users).
One thing I need right now:
Introductions to people working on African marketplace infrastructure, local services platforms, RWA (especially emerging market / land), or anyone who has scaled trust + payments in West Africa. Open to sharp feedback on positioning for grants and partners who care about actual adoption.
Happy to share what we’re learning on the ground.

Gambians living in the UK, US and Europe could be LocalHands' best paying customers, since many of them pay for repairs and solar installs at their family's house back home but have no way to check who actually shows up. I'd offer them a package where they book and pay from abroad and get photos of the finished job, which also gives you a clear adoption story for grant funders.
This is gold 🔥 thank you.
You’re right. Diaspora Gambians in the UK, US and Europe already pay for repairs and solar installs at home but have almost no visibility or control over who shows up.
We’re already thinking about a “pay from abroad + photo proof of completion” flow. It solves the trust gap for them and gives us a clean adoption story for grant funders at the same time.
Would love to dig deeper on how you’d structure the package (pricing, verification, communication loop). Open to a quick chat if you’re open.
Appreciate you taking the time on this.
