Building embedded-focused Linux distros is the kind of deep technical work where the hard part is often picking who to sell to, not the product itself. The SaasRise CEOs I've worked with who sold very technical products usually grew fastest once they chose one industry, like factory equipment or medical devices, and became the obvious choice for those buyers.
