Hi, I'm Peter: I built Local Commander so AI agents can work on my own Windows PCs
Hi, I'm Peter, a technology leader and founder in Jerusalem.
For a while my workflow with AI was: the chat suggests a fix, I paste it into the terminal, run the tests, copy the error back. I was a very slow USB cable between the model and my Windows PC. Local Commander is what I built to stop doing that. It connects ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients to Windows 11 computers you own: the AI reads approved project files and Git state, runs the checks you authorize and checks local services, and the workspace at localcmd.app shows which computer ran each request and how it ended.
What I'd like from this room:
- Beta users who already run agents and have a Windows PC they want the agent to work on: a home PC, an office machine or a build box.
- Setup feedback: from sign-up to the first command, where did you get stuck?
- Advice from anyone who has sold a developer tool to small teams: what made them pay?
It's free on up to 5 computers: localcmd.app/?utm_source=lounge&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=growth283&utm_content=intro

When a team adds a sixth Windows PC past the free five, will you charge per computer or one flat team price?
Neither, exactly. It’s sold in packs. The sixth PC means adding one Team pack: $15 a month covers 10 more computers, so you’re set up to 15. If you grow past that, you add another pack.
I went with packs because per-computer billing makes people hesitate every time they add a machine, and one flat price is unfair to a team with 8 PCs. This way you pay in steps and stop thinking about it in between. The limit is on computers only, not on how much your AI does on them.
It’s early, so if packs don’t fit how your team buys, tell me. I’d rather adjust now than later.
