Building AI Products That Solve Real Problems
Hey everyone 👋🏽
I'm Lambert, an AI Systems Builder and the founder of Lynktern, building from Nigeria 🇳🇬.
I'm currently building Lynktern, a platform that started from a problem I experienced firsthand during my SIWES journey: students struggling with logbooks, reports, and the lack of proper guidance throughout their industrial training.
We've grown to over 200 users, with paying customers validating that this problem is worth solving.
Now, I'm expanding Lynktern beyond SIWES into a broader academic companion, helping students navigate university life, develop practical skills, and prepare for the real world.
My interests span AI engineering, full-stack development, and building sustainable technology products.
I'm here to connect with founders, learn from people building at the frontier of AI, exchange ideas, and share the journey of turning a small idea into something meaningful.
Still early. Still building. A lot more to come.
Looking forward to meeting you all. 🤝🏽

Who pays for Lynktern today, the students themselves or the universities and companies that run their SIWES placements?
Great question, Ryan. Today it's the students. Lynktern Pro is a student-paid subscription (₦3k–₦5k) that covers defense prep, SIWES report drafting and the CV builder, and AI usage is sold separately as credits. I have 5 paying students so far, with 200+ signed up.
Universities and companies don't pay yet. They use Lynktern free right now (coordinator dashboard, supervisor sign-off, placements). Institution seat licensing is the B2B path I'm building toward, but I'd rather prove the student side first than sell a school something before it has real adoption data.
