SightOps is a visual troubleshooting project inspired by helping my mother diagnose a broken dishwasher remotely. It aims to combine computer-vision measurements with an agent that can recognize insufficient evidence, ask for a better camera view, and escalate consequential decisions to a human. The next step is a reproducible demonstrator with gauges, status indicators, and difficult viewing conditions.

Teaching the agent to say the evidence is not good enough and ask for a better camera angle is the hard part. Glare on a gauge can look like a confident reading. How will the demonstrator score that, by calibrating the CV measurement's uncertainty or by testing when the agent asks for a retake?
