Building with Laravel & AI
Basma Digital Agency
Hey Lounge community! 👋 I’m Ahmed, Founder of Basma Digital Agency and a Full-Stack Developer.
Currently, I'm building "Layali", a comprehensive web platform using Laravel. I’ve been heavily using Cursor and Claude to accelerate backend architecture and complex database relationships. It's literally cutting my dev time in half!
I’m curious, for those of you building SaaS or scalable platforms, what’s your go-to AI stack for backend development?
Would love to connect and learn from what you are building! 🚀

Cutting your dev time in half on Layali means you can get it in front of real users months sooner, and that matters more than any tool choice. I don't write backend code myself, so I'll leave the stack question to the engineers here, but I'd spend some of that saved time talking with the people Layali is meant for.
Mostly Claude Code for me, with Claude for planning first. The biggest speedup came from having it write tests with each change, not just the code.
