Building independent AI assurance
Hey everyone, I’m Alan, founder of Norynthe.
I’m building an independent AI evaluation and trust-scoring company focused on a question I think will matter more and more as AI systems become capable and consequential: how do we independently establish what these systems actually do?
My background is in technology strategy, product development, and AI. I hold an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and an MBA, and my work now centers on independent AI assurance, evidence, and making AI evaluation more useful in the real world.
I’m also developing Norynthe Lab, a research initiative focused on advancing independent AI evaluation methods and infrastructure.
You can learn more at norynthe.com and explore The Papers at papers.norynthe.com.
I’d love to connect with founders, engineers, researchers, investors, and other builders working on meaningful problems in AI. Always happy to compare notes, exchange ideas, and learn from what others are building here.

An independent trust score for AI systems is the kind of thing an insurer or a school district will want before signing a contract, the same way they ask for a security audit today. Because Norynthe isn't selling an AI product of its own, buyers can believe your score in a way they can't fully believe a vendor grading its own work.
