Building AiS Platform — AI Infrastructure from Uzbekistan

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm Umarxon Jamshiddinov, founder of AiS Platform, an independent AI project I'm building in Uzbekistan.

AiS Platform aims to bring different AI models and tools together into one accessible ecosystem.

What I've built so far:

  • AiSCloudBot — a Telegram bot providing access to multiple AI models.
  • AiS Backend API — infrastructure for handling AI requests and integrations.
  • AiS Web Chat — a web-based AI chat interface.
  • AiS Mobile — an Android application currently in development.
  • Cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure.

What I'm working on:
Improving reliability, expanding integrations, and preparing the platform for real users.

What I'm looking for:
I'd love to connect with other AI founders, infrastructure engineers, and mentors who can share feedback on architecture, product development, and finding early users.

I'm especially interested in learning how other founders turn technical projects into sustainable businesses.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

AiSCloudBot already sits on Telegram, which most people in Uzbekistan use every day, so try a monthly plan priced in som and paid through Click or Payme for people who find it hard to pay for ChatGPT with a foreign card. University students in Tashkent could be a good first group to sell that plan to.

Hello Ryan, thanks for your advice! I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Your first suggestion about using Telegram seems great! Almost everyone here uses it, and it would be more convenient for them to try something they are used to, without having to download a new application or learn how to use it. The same goes for your second suggestion about monthly subscriptions in Uzbek sum via Click or Payme. I've been thinking a lot about ways to make the payment process affordable and available for everyone, and right now, not everyone has an international bank card, and it is inconvenient to pay for international AI services in dollars. The availability of local payment systems would fix this problem. As for AiS Cloud itself, I want to create an ecosystem in which it would be possible for people to try different models and tools in search of those that best suit their needs. For me, the priority was to create a single platform in which it would be possible to switch between various AI models and not use different websites and accounts for each. For now, my main task has been to set up a Telegram bot, a backend API, and a web chat interface in order for users to get an overview of what the system can do. I'm also working on an Android application. The idea of targeting universities in Tashkent is great! I did not think of it, but focusing on such a specific audience will most likely be beneficial. People there are usually quite involved in innovations and ready to experiment. This will help find out what features are needed, and what the target user wants to see in the system, not just the developers' desires. Since I am working on this project alone, and for now, only my programming knowledge and skills are being used, the business side of things is new to me, and I have to learn as I go. It's hard to say what stage I'm at, but I'd say it's the beginning. I feel confident enough in my abilities as a programmer and system architect, but user growth, monetization, and sustainable development are all complex processes that I have yet to understand. In fact, I have a question for you. How do you think it's better to start: to introduce a paid subscription for the bot, or to wait for the necessary audience to be collected and somehow monetize the project further? Personally, I'm leaning towards the first option, but I'm not sure whether introducing payments too early could discourage potential users. Once again, I'm grateful for your advice and would love to hear more of your thoughts in the future! It's great to hear how someone with your experience approaches these challenges, and I'm always ready to take your suggestions under consideration!
