I built Vocalis: an AI-powered platform to practice and improve your communication skills
I've been building Vocalis, a communication practice platform designed to help people become better speakers through deliberate practice and feedback.
The idea is simple: choose a topic, speak for 60 seconds, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and use the feedback to improve your next attempt.
Most people know communication is important, but getting consistent opportunities to practice and receive useful feedback isn't always easy. Vocalis aims to make that process more accessible.
🎯 The core loop: Practice → Speak → Analyze → Improve → Repeat.
I'm sharing the project to get feedback from fellow builders, AI enthusiasts, and anyone interested in communication skills.
I'd love to hear your thoughts:
- What would make this genuinely useful for you?
- Which speaking skills should I prioritize?
- What would you expect from an AI communication coach?

Sixty seconds on one topic, then feedback, then another try is a small enough habit that someone could squeeze it in right before a job interview or a sales call. Most people never get honest notes on how they speak, so a quick daily rep like this could help a nervous speaker improve a lot faster than waiting for the next big meeting.
