Looking for help with a portable AI trauma device (Project-ATO)
Project ATO- Acoustic Tourniquet," a portable AI-guided device that uses acoustic targeting for internal bleeding. Think battlefield or remote trauma care where no surgeon is available. Model training is underway with Roboflow + TensorFlow.
Current state: concept validated, dashboard mockup built, pre-prototype.
Where I need help:
1.
A licensed physician (trauma surgeon or interventional radiologist) to review the concept — medical credibility is the gating factor
2.
Anyone with experience in medical device prototyping or acoustic/ultrasound tech
3.
Pointers on Canadian funding for dual-use medical/defense tech (eyeing DND IDEaS)
Not looking for cofounders — just smart eyes and honest feedback. Happy to share the repo with anyone serious.

Getting a trauma surgeon or interventional radiologist on board first is the right order, because a defense funding panel like IDEaS will likely ask who your clinical lead is before they look at the dashboard mockup. A named physician advisor, even a part-time one paid with a small equity grant, will probably do more for that application than anything else you can add at the pre-prototype stage.
Acoustic targeting for internal bleeding is an ambitious problem. Getting a trauma surgeon to review it before building more is the right call. Hope someone here can connect you.
