Every business says it has AI. When I walk in as a customer, very few let me talk to it.

I’m Sergei. I run AI test purchases: an AI agent goes through a company’s site the way a customer does, asks the questions a real customer asks, and tries to get to the result: the cart, a booking, the right contact. Then I put every answer next to what the company itself promises on its pages.

Lately I mostly look at the new shopper: the one who sends their own AI to buy. Things that used to help people choose, like a quiz before the catalogue or a signup before the price, now stop that agent at the door. Nobody complains, the customer just goes elsewhere.

The public reports are free at aibusiness.vc/library.
If you build something customer-facing with AI, I’m curious: have you watched an AI agent try to use your own product yet?

Putting a signup in front of the price was already costing companies plenty of human buyers, so an AI shopper bouncing off that same wall is just a faster, quieter version of an old leak. Most SaaS CEOs I work with would fix their pricing page this quarter if your report showed them the exact step where the agent gave up and left for a competitor.
