Lighthouse: when a buyer asks AI for recommendations, does your brand appear?
Ask an AI assistant a question your customers ask before buying. Does it mention your business, your competitors, or neither?
I built Lighthouse to track those questions over time, compare a brand with up to three competitors, and turn the findings into a content playbook. The current product covers ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Overview.
I am looking for marketers, PR practitioners, agencies and business owners willing to test a real brand with a small set of buyer questions. I want to learn whether the evidence leads to a useful next decision. The product uses prepaid scan credits; there is no promise of a particular ranking.

What buyer question would you want to track first, and what result would actually change your marketing plan?

The side-by-side with up to three competitors is the part I'd lead with, because a marketing lead who can show their CEO that ChatGPT names all three rivals and skips their brand gets budget approved fast. If I ran a test, the first buyer question I'd track is "what's the best community for AI founders," and seeing a competitor named while Lounge is missing would push content to the top of our list that week.
Thanks Ryan, I would love folks to try out lighthouse and let me know how to enhance it further, invite them to your platform
The question I would track first is the comparison one, like "best X for a small team" or "X vs Y", because that is where a buyer is closest to choosing. What would actually change my plan is not whether the brand appears but which sources the answer leans on: if a competitor wins through a third-party list or a review site, the next move is getting onto that list, and if it wins through its own comparison or pricing page, the next move is writing a clearer one of ours. I would also pair the scan with GA4 referrals from chatgpt.com and perplexity.ai, so you can see whether being mentioned turns into visits to specific pages. Do you show the cited URLs per answer, or only whether the brand was named?
Good suggestions, have you tried lighthouse yet?
