Anthropic's public IPO filing opens a path to a Nasdaq listing under ticker ANT
The public Form S-1 was posted on SEC EDGAR on October 26, listing the company for trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under ANT. A public timetable compiled from reports lists Reuters describing investor talk of a valuation near $1.5 trillion, and Financial Times and Bloomberg reporting third-quarter revenue of $16.8 billion. The SEC must still declare the registration statement effective before pricing.
Anthropic closed a $65 billion Series H at a $965 billion post-money valuation on May 28, so a public listing would mark a large step up. Bloomberg reported on October 1 that formal marketing could start as soon as the week of November 9. The Wall Street Journal reported in September that the listing window had moved from October to November.
For founders, a public listing will set a market price for one of the leading model labs and a reference point for AI valuations. Public company disclosures will also show spending and losses in detail. Teams that depend on Claude should watch for pricing or capacity changes during the offering period.
