WalkMe
WalkMe's digital adoption platform sits on top of other vendors' applications. It tracks how people use them, finds friction, and offers in-context guidance and automation, with generative AI features such as WalkMeX. It sells to enterprises on a SaaS subscription model, and its customers include IBM, Nestlé, ThermoFisher Scientific and the U.S. Department of Defense. It was founded in Israel in 2011, went public on Nasdaq in 2021 (WKME), and raised about $307.5M in total. SAP agreed to acquire it for about $1.5B in cash in June 2024 and completed the deal later that year.
