New York, United States · ≈9 employees · Research and Development in Biotechnology (except Nanobiotechnology) · polyphron.com

Polyphron trains AI models to manufacture and simulate living human tissue. Its Tissue Foundry grows donor-diverse micro-tissue from stem cells, and its Tissue World Model predicts how that tissue responds to genetic, chemical and environmental changes. The aim is to give AI-driven drug development a verification layer, for example by predicting cardiac or liver toxicity before a drug reaches the clinic. Cardiac tissue is in production, and liver is planned for 2026. In September 2026 the company announced a $20M seed round led by Quiet Capital, with Gradient, Haystack and Compound participating. It was founded by CEO Matthew Osman, CSO Fabio Boniolo and Chief AI Scientist Vinh Q. Tran.
