It aggregates content from more than 10,000 sources and adds AI personalization, and it also offers ad monetization and campaign tools to publishers and local businesses. It was founded in 2015 and reached unicorn status in 2021 with a $115M Series C round, and it reports 40–50M+ monthly US users. Reuters reported that AI-generated stories on the platform caused errors between 2021 and 2024.
