Mercado Labs
Mercado Labs sells a purpose-built import order management system (SaaS). It digitizes the "first mile" of the supply chain, from purchase order through production and shipping, for brands and importers working with overseas suppliers and freight providers. It was founded in 2018 as Global Trade Specialists LLC and is led by CEO Rob Garrison. It closed a $3.2M seed round led by LiveOak Venture Partners in 2019–2020, then a Series A led by SJF Ventures in December 2021, for about $5.7M raised in total per CB Insights. Despite the AI framing, public sources describe it as supply chain software, not an AI-native product.
