EcoVadis runs a collaborative SaaS platform that rates companies on environmental, social and ethical performance. It also offers risk mapping, compliance and carbon management tools (such as Carbon Action Manager). Large buyers use it to assess their suppliers, and the suppliers pay for ratings and improvement tools. The company was founded in 2007 and raised a $500M Series C in June 2022 at a valuation of about $1B. It has more than 100,000 rated companies and roughly 1,900 employees. Estimated 2024 revenue is about $162M (third-party estimate).
