Headway
Headway is a New York-based mental healthcare company whose platform handles insurance credentialing, billing and patient referrals for independent therapists, and offers patients one-click booking of in-network care. It says it is the largest mental health provider network in the US, with over 85,000 providers across all 50 states and DC (2026), and it has recently added AI work by acquiring the team behind Tezi. It raised about $325M in total, including a $100M Series D in July 2024 at a reported $1B valuation, from investors such as a16z, Accel, Spark Capital, Forerunner and Thrive.
