About Parkway Venture Capital

Overview

Led Hark's $700M Series A.

History and team

Parkway Venture Capital was founded in 2019 by Gregg Hill and Jesse Coors-Blankenship, who are both managing partners. A few directories give 2018 as the founding year, but LinkedIn, PitchBook and Parkway's own 2026 press release say 2019. The firm is headquartered in New York and also has an office in Winter Park, Florida. PitchBook lists it as a Registered Investment Adviser and an NVCA member. Other people listed on LinkedIn and third-party profiles include Robert Bibow and Nekeshia Woods as partners and Brian Hoyt as COO. Public sources do not say which partner leads AI deals, and Parkway has not published its fund sizes.

AI investing

Parkway describes itself as backing fundamentally disruptive technologies, with a focus on AI and deep tech. Its sectors include AI, simulation, quantum technology and complex engineering. In a 2026 release the firm said it concentrates on a small group of founders, leads rounds, works closely with them and stays sector-agnostic. It also says it holds positions over time. Parkway led Figure AI's $70M Series A in 2023 and its Series C in 2025. It took part in Figure's $675M Series B in 2024. It was the first venture backer of SandboxAQ after that company spun out of Google in 2022. The firm lists 2026 exits including xAI, Pascal and TAE Technologies. In October 2026 it ranked first among emerging U.S. venture firms on the Strebulaev-Jackson ranking, a ranking built from investment data.

Stages and check sizes

Parkway invests from seed through growth stage. Third-party data shows entry mostly at Series A, with some seed investments, and it often leads. Parkway has not published a check size range or a fund size, so none is given here.
