AI investing

FirstMark is often the first institutional investor in a company and often leads the round. Its public AI work centres on infrastructure for agents. In February 2026 it led Daytona's $24M Series A. The other investors in that round were Pace Capital, Upfront Ventures, E2VC, Datadog and Figma Ventures. Daytona makes stateful, forkable computing environments for AI agents. On the Lounge deals desk, FirstMark led Liquid Compute's $15M Seed (September 2026) and Fragment's $12M Series A (October 2026). It also took part in Overtone's $18M Seed (July 2026) and H Company's $220M Seed (May 2024). Crunchbase does not mark FirstMark as lead on the H Company round.

Stages and check sizes

FirstMark says it invests at Seed and Series A. Third-party databases add Pre-Seed and Series B in some cases. The firm does not publish a check size. Aggregators report different ranges. Superscout and F4 give $250K to $10M. Startupintros gives $100K to $10M. Visible gives $500K to $15M. Treat these as estimates. The firm focuses on North America and Europe, according to Superscout.
