Toss is a mobile financial super-app from Viva Republica. It began as a peer-to-peer money transfer service in 2015 and now covers payments, credit scores, loans, securities and insurance. It also has Toss Bank, Toss Securities and Toss Payments affiliates serving consumers and merchants, mainly in South Korea. Viva Republica reported its first annual profit, about $62M, in 2024, on revenue of about $1.4B. It was valued at $7.4B in a 2021 round of over $400M. It is privately held and has been reported to be planning a US IPO.
