Synamedia
Synamedia is a UK video technology company that grew out of Cisco's service provider video software business, and before that NDS. Its products include the Synamedia Go cloud SaaS OTT platform, the Senza cloud streaming platform, the VideoGuard conditional access and DRM security suite, and video processing, advertising and broadband tools. It sells to pay-TV operators, telcos and content owners through software licences, SaaS and services. Permira acquired it in 2018. Employee counts in 2025–2026 range from roughly 1,400 to 1,500, with offices in the UK, US, Israel, India and elsewhere.
