1Password sells a subscription SaaS platform for storing, sharing and governing passwords, passkeys and secrets, with business customers numbering around 150,000 to 180,000 by third-party estimates. Founded in 2005 and bootstrapped for about 14 years, it raised a $620M Series C in January 2022 at a $6.8B valuation, for roughly $920M total funding. It surpassed $400M in ARR by late 2025, up from $250M in 2023, and completed a $100M secondary sale at the same valuation in October 2025.
