Smack Technologies
Smack Technologies is a frontier AI lab for national security. It was co-founded in 2024 by former Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) veterans Andrew Markoff (CEO) and Clint Alanis. Its Omega command-level stack and Alpha edge-level stack use deep reinforcement learning to fuse multimodal sensor data into campaign-informed planning and real-time decisions. Customers include the Joint Fires Network and the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab, with contracts sold to U.S. DoW and allied forces. It raised a $32M Series A in March 2026 led by Geodesic Capital and Costanoa Ventures, and a $61M Series B in August 2026 co-led by Costanoa Ventures and First In Capital.
