Shield AI
Shield AI builds Hivemind, an AI pilot that flies drones and crewed aircraft in GPS- and comms-denied environments, plus V-BAT VTOL drones and X-BAT aircraft. Customers include US SOCOM, the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard, and allied militaries. It earns money from aircraft sales, contractor-operated services, and Hivemind software licences and integration. In March 2026 it announced a $1.5B Series G at a $12.7B post-money valuation, plus $500M of Blackstone preferred equity. Sacra estimates revenue of about $300M for the year ending March 2025, and The Information reported in September 2026 that it expects at least $540M in 2026.
