Paxos
Paxos Trust Company, N.A. is a New York-based, federally chartered blockchain infrastructure company. It sells B2B services for stablecoin issuance, asset tokenization, crypto brokerage, custody and settlement. It has issued stablecoins including PayPal USD (PYUSD), Pax Dollar (USDP) and Global Dollar (USDG), and it also issues the gold-backed token PAXG. Founded in 2012 as the itBit bitcoin exchange, it has raised about $540M in total, including a $300M Series D in April 2021 at a reported $2.4B valuation. In 2025 it spun out Paxos Labs, a separate venture, which raised a $12M seed round in April 2026.
