Olivetti is the IoT-focused company of TIM Group, operating within TIM Enterprise. Its three business lines are IoT & Big Data, PA & Business solutions, and Office. It sells to B2B, B2B2C, B2C and B2G customers, including SMEs, large corporates, public administrations and retailers, and uses TIM's fixed, mobile and 5G networks. It is a 100% TIM subsidiary that has been TIM-owned since 2003. It sold its retail cash-register business to Buffetti in 2023. Its last reported revenue was €227M with 582 employees (2014). It is a legacy brand, not an AI startup, and it has no disclosed venture funding.
