MapR-Technologies
MapR Technologies, founded in 2009, sold a converged data platform for big data, analytics and AI. It combined a Hadoop distribution, a distributed file system, NoSQL database and event streaming. It sold software licenses and subscriptions to large enterprises. It raised roughly $280–347M from investors including Mayfield Fund (sources differ on the total). HPE acquired its business assets in August 2019, and the technology now continues under HPE's Ezmeral line.
