NAVTOR
NAVTOR makes e-navigation and vessel performance software. Its products include electronic navigational charts, digital publications, the NavStation route planning platform and the NavFleet fleet-management app. Customers are shipowners, ship managers, operators and navigators, and it sells through subscriptions and distributors. Tor Svanes and Børge Hetland founded it in Egersund in 2011. It is now owned by private equity firm Accel-KKR and has about 400 employees (2026). Third-party estimates put 2025 revenue at about $137M ARR, which is unverified. The company has said its products were on close to 9,000 vessels.
