Cvent sells SaaS covering event registration, venue sourcing, attendee engagement, onsite tools, analytics and AI features. It also sells group-business sourcing software to hotels and venues. Customers are corporate event planners, marketers, associations and hospitality businesses. Third-party sources cite 24,000–30,000+ customers. Revenue comes from subscriptions, with one estimate of about $650M trailing revenue in 2025. Blackstone took Cvent private for $4.6B in 2023 after a 2021 Nasdaq listing. In December 2025 Cvent agreed to acquire webinar platform ON24 for about $400M, and it also acquired AI video startup Goldcast.
