Cedar sells a SaaS patient financial engagement platform: Cedar Pay (billing and payments), Cedar Support (AI voice and chat support) and Cedar Cover (Medicaid/ACA enrollment and financial assistance). Its customers are health systems, payers and physician groups, including Novant Health, Highmark, Allina Health and Providence. As of November 2024 it engaged about 26M patients a year and was on track to process $3.5B in patient payments annually. It was founded in 2016 and has raised about $351M in total. Its last major round was a $200M Series D in March 2021, at a $3.2B valuation.
