BambooHR is a People Intelligence Platform. It combines core HRIS, applicant tracking, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, time and attendance, and performance management. In 2026 it launched Bamboo AI, an embedded AI layer, along with AI Connectors and Expert Services. It sells subscriptions to SMBs, and its 2026 press materials cite more than 30,000 customers in over 190 countries and over 3 million employee records. Founded in 2008 by Ben Peterson and Ryan Sanders, it is private and PE-backed (a 2018 round reportedly valued it at $1B). Latka's unverified estimate puts 2024 revenue near $274M.
