ThousandEyes provides a SaaS platform that uses distributed smart monitoring agents and internet and cloud telemetry to map and troubleshoot how customers and employees reach critical applications across SD-WAN, internet and cloud networks. It is sold to large enterprises and public-sector organizations, and it is integrated across Cisco's networking, security, collaboration and observability products. The company was founded in 2010 and raised about $112M before Cisco acquired it in May 2020. It now operates as a Cisco business unit with roughly 1,000 employees.
