SS&C Blue Prism sells the WorkHQ agentic automation platform, which coordinates AI agents, software robots and people. It also sells RPA, BPM and intelligent document processing tools, offered on-premises or in the cloud under quote-based enterprise licences. Customers are large enterprises, mainly in financial services, insurance, healthcare and the public sector. The company was founded in 2001 in Warrington, UK, as Blue Prism, listed on London's AIM in 2016, and was acquired by SS&C Technologies in March 2022 for about $1.6B (£1.25B). It operates as an SS&C business unit and launched WorkHQ in April 2026. Headcount was about 1,029 in March 2026.
