Scandit's platform lets any camera-equipped smart device scan barcodes, text, IDs and objects, with AR overlays and analytics. Its customers are enterprises in retail, transport and logistics, manufacturing and healthcare, and it sells the software to them as a developer SDK and as ready-made apps. The company was founded in 2009 and raised a $150M Series D in February 2022 at a roughly $1B valuation, bringing total funding to about $273M. It reported over 1,700 customers in 2022, and a third-party estimate puts revenue near $119M. Headcount has fallen from about 459 in early 2024 to about 364 in 2026.
