RYZE Superfoods
RYZE sells mushroom coffee, matcha and other functional beverage blends made with medicinal mushrooms and adaptogens. It sells them direct online and at Target to health-conscious consumers.
RYZE Superfoods sells instant mushroom coffee, matcha and hot chocolate blends. They combine organic coffee, a mushroom blend and prebiotic fiber, and are aimed at consumers who want a lower-caffeine morning ritual. The company was founded in 2020 by two Harvard graduates and sells mainly direct-to-consumer online, with subscriptions. It launched nationwide at Target in January 2026 and added Target-exclusive lattes in May and September 2026. Disclosed funding is small, with seed rounds from PS27 Ventures in 2021–2022 and a 2023 round from Northwood Ventures. Third-party estimates put 2025 revenue near $300M, which is unverified. In September 2025 the company voluntarily dropped health claims for its mushroom coffee and matcha after a National Advertising Division inquiry. Note that RYZE is a consumer food and beverage brand, not an AI company.
