QTS Data Centers (QTS Realty Trust, operating as Quality Technology Services) owns and operates data center campuses in North America and Europe. Its customers are hyperscale technology companies, enterprises and government entities. It earns money from long-term leases of data center capacity and related services. Blackstone acquired the company for about $10B in 2021, and Blackstone says QTS's leased megawatts have grown 14-fold since then. A 2026 Fitch review of one QTS financing described an operator with more than 2.7 GW of critical IT load across 90+ facilities. In 2026 QTS announced new campuses in Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania, and it dropped the PW Digital Gateway project in Virginia.
