Pacaso
Pacaso sells fractional co-ownership of luxury second homes to affluent U.S. and international buyers, with financing, management and resale support.
Pacaso is a proptech marketplace. It buys luxury vacation homes, renovates them if needed, and sells 1/8 to 1/2 shares in a property-specific LLC. It also offers financing, property management and resale support. Customers are affluent second-home buyers in 40+ destinations in the U.S. and abroad. Revenue comes from the sale of shares and from management fees. The company was founded in 2020 by ex-Zillow executives Austin Allison and Spencer Rascoff. It had a $1.5B valuation after its 2021 Series C and has raised about $318M in equity (Tracxn). In 2025 it raised about $72.5M through equity crowdfunding. In 2026 it got a $100M lending facility from Texas Capital Bank. Pacaso is a real estate company, not an AI company. Most sources, including Crunchbase, Wikipedia and LinkedIn, put its HQ in San Francisco. Only Tracxn and Forge list a Cincinnati, Ohio address.
