About New Relic

New Relic's Intelligent Observability Platform unifies telemetry (metrics, events, logs, traces) with full-stack monitoring and AI-driven analysis and automation. It is sold on a subscription and usage-based model to enterprises across technology, finance, media and telecom. The company was founded in 2008 by Lew Cirne and IPO'd on the NYSE in 2014. It reported about $926M in revenue for FY2023 and had around 15,900 customers as of June 2023. Francisco Partners and TPG took it private in November 2023 in a deal valuing it at about $6.5B.
