About IMImobile

IMImobile sold cloud messaging APIs and customer-engagement software, including low-code workflows for contact centres. Its customers were large consumer-facing businesses, and it was licensed as software-as-a-service and CPaaS. It listed on London's AIM in 2014. Cisco bought it for about $730M in a deal announced in December 2020 and completed in February 2021, and it now operates as Webex CPaaS (Webex Connect, Engage). At the time of the deal it had roughly 1,100 employees and about a 5% share of the CPaaS market.
