About Dream11

Dream11, the flagship brand of Mumbai-based Dream Sports, began as a fantasy sports platform where fans built virtual teams of real players, mainly in cricket. India's August 2025 ban on real-money online gaming removed most of its revenue, which was reported to be about ₹6,384 crore (about US$660M) in FY23. It has since moved to free-to-play fantasy, watch-alongs and creator-led content, with an ad-based model. Dream Sports was last valued at about $8B after a $840M round in 2021 and had about 950 employees in 2026, with Dream11 itself needing fewer than 200.
