Crowley Carbon
Irish energy-efficiency and decarbonisation engineering firm with its Clarity software platform, serving manufacturers and commercial building owners.
Crowley Carbon, founded in 2009 by Norman Crowley, sells energy-management engineering services and its Clarity software platform. It targets net-zero and energy savings at large manufacturing (pharma, food and drink, tech) and commercial sites. Its clients include Glanbia, Takeda and GE Healthcare. It earns money from project-based engineering and software services. It is part of the CoolPlanet group. In 2020 Crowley said it had about 400 staff and nearly €100m revenue, but later estimates put headcount at about 159 in 2025. Public funding data is thin, with about $540K from Business Venture Partners in 2014 on CB Insights. A 2026 Irish registry aggregator lists Crowley Carbon Limited as in liquidation, so its current trading status should be verified.
