About
I architect AI-integrated systems for real environments with real constraints, and I teach organizations at every level how to adopt them responsibly. At Austin Public Health, I built the AI strategy from the ground up and delivered multiple agent-based solutions for transcription, policy review, research and analysis, and ML pipelines within a compliant, security-first infrastructure, including a development platform with 150+ reusable AI-ready modules.
Beyond my work at Austin Public Health, I train and mentor teams across the City of Austin on agile delivery and AI adoption. I produce training content and open source tools designed to help municipal organizations around the world get a head start on AI. I speak at conferences, serve as a panelist and guest speaker for public health and civic organizations, and collaborate with institutions including the CDC, Johns Hopkins, Bloomberg, and the University of Texas on AI deployment in public-sector environments.
I evaluate and pressure-test the latest AI tools and platforms as they ship, so I know what's production-ready before I bring it to a client or a team. I've built my own multi-agent orchestration workflows and agent harnesses that run reliably in production.
I work with executives setting direction, developers building systems, analysts improving processes, and staff looking to save time on repetitive work. Whether I'm designing a platform for thousands of users or sitting one-on-one with someone figuring out how AI fits their role, the goal is the same: making AI practical and getting it across the finish line.
25 years in IT. Recognized by the City of Austin and the Texas IT Leadership Forum with their Innovative Leader Award for AI in public service. Still learning. Still building.
