She Calendar just got approved on the Google Workspace Marketplace 🎉
Women carry a huge mental load: everyone else's appointments get remembered, our own check-ups and self-care slip. So I built a small Google Calendar add-on that remembers the recurring things for you: dental cleaning, a mammogram, hair color, even calling grandma.
A few choices I made on purpose:
No outside servers. Everything stays in the user's own Google account.
It only touches its own calendar, never your other events.
Free. Hebrew and English.
What I learned on the way: Calendar add-ons don't run on mobile, so a phone page is next.
Built without being a developer, with Claude as my technical partner: from the code to the Google review.
Looking for early users and honest feedback:
Install: zarmumia.co.il/en/she-calendar/

Reminders like a dental cleaning or a mammogram usually get booked from a phone, so the mobile page may matter more than the add-on. Where will you look for your first hundred users, in Israeli women's groups or through clinics that want patients back?
You’re right, and that’s the part I’m working on now. The add-on is the setup step: you set it up once on a computer, and the reminders reach your phone through Google Calendar. A phone page is already in testing, so the next version won’t need a computer at all. For the first users I’m starting close to home: women I know and Israeli women’s groups, so I can watch where people get stuck. Clinics are a really interesting direction for later, once there’s something real to show them.
